How Infants Think and Feel: What the Research Tells Us, Part 1
This course begins a three-part series that explores development from the child’s perspective as it changes across the first three years of life. This first course focuses on research that uncovers the remarkable ways infants think and feel during the earliest stage of development. It also presents promising practices and strategies for helping infant development during this period.
Building Teaching Relationships: High Standards & Happy Kids
In this workshop, participants will deepen their understanding of child development; explore ways to support children who are frustrated, discouraged or upset; discuss behavior management strategies and methods of providing constructive criticism that encourages skill development and self-esteem; and apply these strategies to build positive teaching relationships with children.
