Learn how to supervise youth, manage risk factors, and promote healthy, safe relationship skills in this advanced training.

Adults play a critical role in supporting healthy sexual development in young people, and effective supervision is one of our strongest tools.

This advanced session looks closely at why some youth display concerning or harmful sexual behaviors. Together, we’ll talk through how to weigh risk factors against protective factors, and how to offer practical, targeted support that helps young people build safe, healthy relationship skills.

Key Learning Objectives:
Explore what contributes to concerning and harmful sexual behaviors in youth
Learn how to actively offset risk factors with protective factors
Discover how to provide targeted support that fosters healthy relationship skills

Who this is for:
This training is tailored for professionals working with at-risk youth, including residential care staff, therapeutic foster parents, counselors, social workers, educators, and after-school staff.
