Starting Solids in the Daycare Setting: How to Support Your Center’s Babies and Families Brendan Rooney

The way you interact with babies around food right now has lifelong impacts. In this training, developed and presented by a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition, you'll learn how to support the babies you care for during the critical transition of adding in complementary foods. The training will cover: signs of readiness, developmental milestones related to feeding, 4 key areas of health and development that are affected by food and feeding styles, the 3 approaches to starting solids, safety tips, balancing infant milk intake with food, how to help babies develop a positive relationship with food, and when to suggest parents seek extra support.
