Description: How can we prevent and address the vicarious impact that is associated with working with children who are vulnerable and experiencing trauma? Reflective Practice can be used to help Early Education professionals increase self-awareness, engage in self-care and sustain their work in this profession. Reflective Practice and consultation are recommended as a model to prevent and address vicarious impact. During this training, we will review the purpose of Reflective Supervision and some of the general methods. We will also facilitate a reflective practice session with all staff at Burlington Children Space.
