Overcoming Burnout in the Early Childhood Field: Strategies for Change – Internal Barriers Sylvia Kennedy-Godin

Special Topics: Advanced Specialized Care ,
Sponsor: POSITIVE SPIN, LLC
Instructor: Ellen Drolette

Based on the book with the same title by Ellen Drolette (available through Redleaf Press) participants will explore strategies for avoiding burn-out and low-morale and use inspiring stories from the field to examine the structures and practices that support the development of healthy attitudes. We will explore some of the internal barriers that distract us from showing up fully to support children and families. Participants will look within themselves to explore what stressors are currently feeding into their feelings of burnout.
