Literacy builds a future February 10, 2020
During this workshop participants will learn about the Children’s Literacy Foundation as well as strengthening literacy techniques to support children in their classroom. Early literacy skills are one of the strongest indicators of a child’s future success. However, two-thirds of low-income 4th graders in VT & NH do not read proficiently. This workshop will provide teachers with means to increase enjoyment in reading and writing as well as provide high-quality reading materials.
