Basic Specialized Care April 4, 2019
Basic Specialized Care is a six-hour introductory training for early childhood professionals who serve vulnerable children and their families in child care settings. This training is one of the requirements to become a Specialized Child Care Provider in Vermont. Topics covered include: child development, the impact of stress and abuse on development, red flags, working with families and the system, and mandated reporting responsibilities.

This training is at the St. Johnsbury CCV. Please enter through the back of the building and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. You must attend both sessions to receive successful completion documentation. Per CCV Policy, please do not bring children to this training.
