Basic Specialized Care November 18, 2019
Basic Specialized Care is a six-hour introductory training for early childhood professionals who serve vulnerable children and their families in child care settings. This training is one of the requirements to become a Specialized Child Care Provider in Vermont. Topics covered include: child development, the impact of stress and abuse on development, red flags, working with families and the system, and mandated reporting responsibilities. The mandated reporter training is required before taking Basic Specialized care.

This training will be at the St. Johnsbury CCV at 1197 Main Street. Enter through the back and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. The Mandated Reporter training is REQUIRED before taking Basic Specialized Care. Per CCV Policy, please do not bring children to this training.
