Basic Specialized Care April 30, 2020
Basic Specialized Care is a six-hour introductory training for early childhood professionals who serve vulnerable children and their families in child care settings. This training is one of the requirements to become a Specialized Child Care Provider in Vermont. Topics covered include: child development, the impact of stress and abuse on development, red flags, working with families and the system, and mandated reporting responsibilities. This is a three-part training, participants must attend all sessions in order to obtain credit for completion. Online mandated reporter training is a PRE-REQUISITE to completing this workshop.

Online Real Time training sessions will be delivered via Zoom. Participants must have an Internet connection and computer, laptop, mobile device or tablet with camera, audio, and mic.
