Boot Camp Basics: Fall Edition August 23, 2022
Vermont Afterschool is excited to be able to offer this FREE Boot Camp Basics series. These five 1.5-hour virtual workshops are designed for brand new staff in summer, third space, and out-of-school time programs and are a great way for new staff to orient to the field and learn basic best practices in their work, as well as offer experienced staff opportunities for professional development. Basic Specialized Care is offered as a 6 hour training. 1. Active Learning and Incorporating Youth Voice: Wednesday, Sept 14th (5:30-7:00pm) 2. Vital Connections for SEL: Thursday, Sept 22nd (5:30-7:00pm) 3. Strengthening Relationships with Families and Your Community: Tuesday, Sept 27th (5:30-7:00pm) 4. Supporting All Youth: Tuesday, Oct 4th (5:30-7:00pm) 5. Professionalism/Building your IPDP: Wednesday, Oct 12th (5:30-7:00pm) 6. Basic Specialized Care: Thursday, Nov 10th (10:00am - 4:00pm)
