Conscious Discipline for Early Childhood Educators Part 1 March 16, 2022
Part 1) Participants will learn and practice concepts and strategies to achieve self regulation for themselves and the children they care for through study, discussion and participation of the Conscience Discipline program. "Conscience Discipline is a complete self-regulation program that integrates social-emotional learning and discipline. It is based on current brain research, and scientifically and practically empowers adults and children to transform conflicts into opportunities to learn critical life skills." from Managing Emotional Mayhem by Dr.Becky Bailey. Homework assigned from Part 1 Review handouts and notes from Part 1 training, using the tools and resources to practice new mindsets during conflicts, create and/or update a safe/peaceful place in participants' programs and practice implementing the 7 powers of self-control and related discipline skills. Implementation tools will be provided for participants to document their action plans.
