Instructor: Muffy Kashkin-Grollier

As a child care provider, we all know the value of reading to young children. In this session, we will take it to the next level by exploring how creating books with children, and for children, can engage them in a different way. We will explore the many benefits of Make Your Own (MYO) books, and examine some simple examples of MYO books. Learning objectives: 1) recognize and identify the ways MYO books engage children. 2) become familiar with methods for creating MYO books and make a plan for your program.
