In this hands on workshop, learn how to grow mushrooms with young children in several fun and innovative ways. Designed for early educators who love growing things in their classrooms and outdoors. We will check out the wine cap mushroom bed Julie Mitchell helped Quarry Hill School teachers create in the fall and learn about how to successfully cultivate different types of mushrooms with young children. Julie Mitchell is an herbal practitioner, gardener and teacher. She operates Eos Botanicals, an herbal apothecary and has a consultation practice in Addison county. Julie's formal education includes BSc. and MSc. from the University of Wales. Her on-going education in herbal medicine occurs outside her door in Monkton, Vermont
