Curriculum Planning Through the Arts November 5, 2019
Facilitated by Jaime Milazzo Owner/Director of Leap Frog Nursery School, a private Vermont State Licensed, ACT 166 qualified, 5 STAR accredited preschool in Poultney. Early educators, preschool teachers and homecare providers will identify key strategies and components of learning objectives as they correspond to art projects that they plan for their students. Participants will outline resources they can use to help align their art/projects to learning standards. All aspects of this training can be utilized in a center based classroom setting or a home based playroom setting.

Instructor asks that participants come prepared with a holiday themed project that they have used or plan to use in their classroom. If you have written instructions Lisa will take photos and email them to everyone for their own personal curriculum. There will also be some make and take projects for the class. This workshop is open to the public. Members of the Castleton Area Child Care Provider's Network will have no cost and for non-members there will be a $5 fee. Please bring a dish to share for a potluck dinner. Location: Castleton Community Center
