Designing Equitable Responsive Environments January 27, 2021
Equitable learning environments are developmentally appropriate and responsive to the needs, strengths, cultures, languages, and abilities, of the children who inhabit them. As part of the Vermont Guiding Principles Professional Development Series, this 2-hour session will explore ways to design environments that create a sense of belonging and psychological safety for children and provide learner-centered opportunities that support their sense of inquiry and agency through ongoing exploration, decision-making, and negotiating of meaningful experiences. You are encouraged to attend the full training series, but welcome to sign up for any individual session you choose.
