We will explore how to create meaningful learning experiences for children with an intentional cycle of observation, documentation, reflection, and response. Tools for documentation and how to use child-centered information to guide your curriculum development will be explored. We will explore how to develop age appropriate activities and how to add materials to the learning environment that builds on the children’s interests and fosters skill development. Through discussion, small group break out rooms and a practice assignment between our sessions, participants will feel more confident in creating curriculum for their children. • Learn how to implement an intentional cycle of observation, documentation, reflection, and response • Develop age appropriate activities and how to add materials to the learning environment • Practice creating curriculum with peers
