In order to successfully serve the children and families in your program, your staff will need a clear understanding of every facet of screening, including its purposes and limitations, effective and sensitive communication with families, cultural and other factors that may influence a child’s screening results, and community resources for appropriate referral. We have the information and the tools (Ages and Stages Questionnaire-3 ® and ASQ: Social Emotional2 ®, and the Developmental Screening Registry) that you need to start a screening program at your site, or to improve upon your current program.

This training will take place at the Davis Center on the University of Vermont's main campus, Burlington VT. Lunch will be provided. There is a 30 minute registration period before the training starts. In addition, your program will receive screening tools, family friendly resources, and classroom materials at no cost.
