Doing the DAP with ART January 23, 2019
Teachers of infants, toddlers and preschoolers might use similar art and sensory materials in their classroom, but what are some of the differences in practice for exploring art materials in different aged groups of children? What does it look like to explore math, science and language through art? Guest artists Nicole Colella and Jayne Methot Walker have designed activities to help educators remember what it is like to learn through their senses. We will reflect on implications for our own practices.
