Early Childhood Brain Development – Aligning for Impact July 9, 2020
Join Dr. Lee Beers, M.D., FAAP, a Professor of Pediatrics and the Medical Director for Community Health and Advocacy with the Goldberg Center for Community Pediatric Health and Child Health Advocacy Institute at Children’s National Hospital. Her presentation will help participants understand early childhood brain architecture and recognize the impact of early childhood experiences on future health and education outcomes. She'll talk of community level interventions and strategies for collaborative work in early childhood mental health promotion, as well as examine the impact of current global events on social emotional development.
