Exploring Family Child Care Environmental Rating Scales (FCCERS) May 14, 2019
The goal of this training is to explore how using the Family Child Care Environmental Rating Scales can support our efforts to improve the quality of our child care programs. Learning Objectives: As a result of this training participants will: 1) demonstrate an understanding of the value of using the FCCERS to self-assess their program; 2) Share examples of ways they have made changes to their programs as a result of creating action plans; 3) demonstrate an understanding of the requirements of the STARS program for achieving points at each level of the Program Practices arena related to the FCCERS. This training is appropriate for FCCH Providers and for the caregivers who provide support and assistance.
