This training will focus on professional conduct using the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and is appropriate for all staff working in an early childhood education setting. Many different situations arise in the early childhood setting that involve making professional judgement about what is best for children, families, and colleagues. Sometimes these situations are complex and require the professional to make ethical choices. How do you ensure that these decisions are in the best interest of the children? This training will explore using the NAEYC Code of Ethics in analyzing these dilemmas. Participants will: Develop an understanding of the difference between values, morals, and ethics and how they each influence one's professional conduct. Explore why a Code of Ethics is important. Learn to apply the principals found in the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct
