Follow up discussion for Substance Use Disorder 101 January 10, 2019
This advanced specialized care two-hour training will provide Early Educators, parents and community members with an opportunity to learn about local resources. This panel discussion by community partners/ professionals will be sharing resources on substance use prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery services provided by area agencies- programs and their eligibility requirements (if any). Presenters will include Oak Leaf and Pine counseling, BAART, NVRH/VDH rep, the Recovery Center, and a few additional agencies. Participants will be able to identify services available for persons with substance abuse issues; will identify barriers to receiving assistance; and will feel more prepared to hold a conversation with someone regarding services and seeking help.

This presentation will be held at the BBF(Building Bright Futures) monthly meeting. The meeting is held in the AHS conference Room at the Vermont Department of Health 107 Eastern Ave. St. Johnsbury, VT. A light meal will be provided.
