Food Service Provider Training January 23, 2020
Participants will a) preview/discuss the PowerPoint presentation on Civil Rights (types of discrimination, non-discrimination statement, complaints, etc.), b) preview/discuss the PowerPoint presentation on the Child and Adult Care Food Program (what it is and the vital role it plays in child care programs), c) preview and be tested on the Blood Borne Pathogens: Early Childhood Video (how blood borne diseases are spread, decontamination, etc.), d) learn about the importance of Food Safety (cleanliness, cross contamination, food temperatures, cleaning and sanitizing, etc.), and e) presentation regarding Recordkeeping/Updates (food service paperwork and calculating sugar in grains and yogurts).
