This 45 hour training includes broad introductory content designed specifically for early childhood professionals related to eight core knowledge areas: child development, families and communities, observing and assessing, how we teach, what we teach, healthy safe environments and nutrition, professionalism, and program organization.

Location: Windham Regional Career Center Directions: From the North: Take I-91 South. Take Exit 1. Take a left at the end of the exit towards Brattleboro. Take a right at the light onto Fairground Road. Take your first right on Atwood Street. Come down Atwood Street. The MAIN OFFICE of the Career Center will be on your LEFT — on the corner of the Middle School parking lot and Atwood Street. You can park in the Community Bible Church parking lot on the right, or come around on Sunny Acres and park in the Middle School parking lot. This portion of the Career Center is the Professional and Technical Building. Programs offered here are Business, Math, English, Culinary, Electronics, Architecture, Medical Human Services, Early Childhood, and Academic Resource and Support. From the South: Take I-91 North.
