Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals November 30, 2022
This 45-hour training includes broad introductory content designed specifically for early childhood professionals related to eight core knowledge areas: child development, families and communities, observing and assessing, how we teach, what we teach, healthy safe environments and nutrition, professionalism, and program organization.

This is an Online Real Time training with 15 sessions on Zoom (see dates and times above) plus other required assignments to be completed outside of class time. Please note, this class meets twice during the week of March 13. Completion of this training meets the education requirement for the Teacher Assistant position. If you have successfully completed a college course that covered Child Development, please contact your Northern Lights Resource Advisor to consult on whether you need to take this training. Participants must have an Internet connection and computer, laptop, mobile device or tablet with a camera, audio, and mic.
