Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals – Hybrid February 7, 2020
This 45-hour training includes broad introductory content designed specifically for early childhood professionals related to eight core knowledge areas: child development, families and communities, observing and assessing, how we teach, what we teach, healthy safe environments and nutrition, professionalism, and program organization. This is a hybrid training that combines 8 in-person classes and 10 online modules. Please see the notes section below for more info.

There are 8 in-person classes ($25 paid upon registration) and 10 online modules ($50 paid directly to Better Kid Care) to be completed outside of class time, as assigned by your instructor - this will be covered on the first night of class. Location: CCV, 1 Abenaki Way, Winooski. Parking is available in a garage 1 block west of the CCV building or in metered spots on the street. If you have completed a college course that covers child development, check with Adri (654-0730) before registering for this training. Participants must enroll in the entire Fundamentals series. Individual sessions are not available. As per CCV policy, we ask that you not bring children to this training.
