Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals Online Real Time March 19, 2021
This training includes broad introductory content designed specifically for early childhood professionals related to eight core knowledge areas: child development, families and communities, observing and assessing, how we teach, what we teach, healthy safe environments and nutrition, professionalism, and program organization. This is a hybrid Online Real Time training. There are 12 Online Real Time training sessions conducted on Zoom (see training dates) and 9 Online Anytime modules. This training requires high speed Internet access and a device that allows for audio and video participation. Participants will need to create an account with Better Kid Care to complete the 9 Online Anytime modules. Trainers will provide more detail about how to create your account and which modules to complete. Participants will purchase the Online Anytime modules directly from Better Kid Care for $5 each ($45 total) as part of this training series.

This is a hybrid Online Real Time training. There are 12 Online Real Time training sessions conducted on Zoom and 9 Online Anytime modules completed through Better Kid Care. $30 is due upon registration and $45 will be paid directly to Better Kid Care for the 9 online modules ($5 each). To participate, you must have an Internet connection and computer, laptop, mobile device or tablet with camera, audio, and mic. If you have questions about using Zoom, contact your Resource Advisor or visit https://northernlightsccv.org/?s=zoom. Your trainer will email a Zoom link to you prior to the start of the training. Trainers will provide more detail about how to create your Better Kid Care account and which modules to complete. Participants must enroll in the entire Fundamentals series. Individual sessions are not available. If you have completed (with a C- or better) a college course that covered child development, please check with your resource advisor before registering.
