Green Mountain Teacher's Camp (GMTC) is an annual event located in rural Southern Vermont. Cabins are scattered throughout the camp, with larger outbuildings for performances and gatherings. A rustic dining hall provides the backdrop for communal meal times, while the art barn beckons creativity and inspiration. GMTC is a unique, week-long event offering multi-disciplinary learning and critical examination of the content and context of education. Dedicated professionals and lifelong learners lead & participate in workshops and focus groups that explore the theories and practices of teaching. Additional Information

Note-- the commuter fee is $400 for the week as opposed to $800 for folks staying on-site. All meals, lodging and tuition as well as a certificate for +/- 20 hours of in-service training are included in the fee. Focus groups are often added as the week goes on, led by participant educators. We invite each of you to share your expertise, curiosity and wonder with the rest of us! This year's group of educators includes teachers, musicians, authors, artists, and leaders who work with all ages. Campers say that GMTC is: *A forum for talking about what really matters in education *A time to connect with others in meaningful ways and share our stories *A chance to relax and renew in a peaceful setting with kindred spirits *A place to play, to sing, to be curious, to wonder, to laugh and get in touch with the kid in me again
