In The Moment: Skills and Strategies for Observing and Assessing Young Children July 1, 2025
In this two part training, participants will explore the art of intentional observation, learning how to pay attention to both the subtle and overt behaviors that reveal a child’s strengths, challenges, and emerging skills. Through practical strategies and real-life examples, educators will be empowered to use everyday moments in the classroom to assess children's progress across developmental domains, including cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development.
- Child Development & Learning
- Observation & Assessment
- Infant/Toddler
- Preschool/PreK
Participants will have an assignment to complete independently between sessions for a total possible 6 hrs of professional development - if both sessions are attended and homework completed.
