This focused session emphasizes tailoring instruction for children who require additional support. Participants will explore:

  • 1) Systematic individualized instruction to meet unique learner needs.
  • 2) Strategies for providing help and scaffolding while promoting independence.
  • 3) Using peer-mediated instruction to foster inclusion and peer support.
  • 4) Embedding instruction naturally within classroom routines and play.
  • 5) Monitoring progress to guide and refine teaching practices.

    • Outcome: Educators will leave prepared to adapt core strategies so that every child, regardless of ability, can participate meaningfully in social-emotional learning.
