Delve into the Infant CLASS, a STARS program quality assessment tool, and learn how to make the most of routines and play with children birth to 18 months of age. Participants will identify how effective interactions help infants: • gain confidence that their needs will be met • rely on a secure base as they explore their surroundings • develop early language and communication skills Participants will analyze videos of interactions with infants, reflect on the interactions in their own settings, and identify teaching practices they would like to sustain and those to increase.
