The ​Medication ​Administration ​training ​is ​designed ​to ​help ​you ​safely ​administer ​medications ​to ​young ​children ​in ​your ​care. ​You ​will ​learn ​how ​to: ​demonstrate ​procedures ​for ​receiving, ​storing, ​preparing, ​administering, ​and ​documenting ​administration ​of ​medications; ​describe ​and ​demonstrate ​what ​to ​do ​for ​signs ​and ​symptoms ​of ​an ​asthma ​attack ​and ​allergic ​reaction; ​and ​describe ​symptoms ​of ​adverse ​reactions ​to ​medication ​and ​actions ​to ​take ​when ​they ​are ​observed. Located at the Howard Dean Center, Community College of Vermont (CCV) - Springfield, 307 South Street, Springfield, Vermont 05156. Park in front of the building and enter through the Technical Center/Howard Dean Center and walk to the back of the building. Take stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor for CCV. Look for signs indicating the classroom where the class will take place. There ​is ​no ​fee ​for ​this ​training. As ​per ​CCV ​policy, ​please ​do ​not ​bring ​children ​to ​this ​training.
