The ​Medication ​Administration ​training ​is ​designed ​to ​help ​you ​safely ​administer ​medications ​to ​young ​children ​in ​your ​care. ​You ​will ​learn ​how ​to: ​demonstrate ​procedures ​for ​receiving, ​storing, ​preparing, ​administering, ​and ​documenting ​administration ​of ​medications; ​describe ​and ​demonstrate ​what ​to ​do ​for ​signs ​and ​symptoms ​of ​an ​asthma ​attack ​and ​allergic ​reaction; ​and ​describe ​symptoms ​of ​adverse ​reactions ​to ​medication ​and ​actions ​to ​take ​when ​they ​are ​observed.

This training is held at the Community College of Vermont (CCV) - Upper Valley, 145 Billings Farm Road,Wilder, Vermont 05001. There ​is ​no ​fee ​for ​this ​training. The ​training ​will ​be ​in ​room ​210. Class ​size ​is ​limited ​to ​16. ​ ​Minimum ​enrollment: ​8.
