Never Too Early: Level I Imagination in Action Through Children’s Literature Deb Norris

Sponsor: Vermont Humanities
Instructor: Leanne Porter

This is a brand-new Never Too Early class! In this class, students will embark on a creative journey to explore the concept of an open-minded mindset, fostering both imagination and critical thinking in young children. Students will learn to encourage imagination through wordless picture books that invite unique perspectives. We will also discuss storytelling techniques designed to inspire and captivate young children. The rhythm and imagery of poetry will be shared. We will also analyze the integration of song lyrics with narratives.
