Never Too Early: Level II, Foundations of Educational Philosophy and Literacy Development Deb Norris

Never Too Early: Level II is the continuation of the Level I training, the prerequisite course offered in 2021–2024. Components include the open questioning mindset in teaching and literacy, philosophy of literacy education, review of current sources, and critique of learning spaces and teaching practice. Students receive a free set of new picture books for use in their practice. Students' commitment to this course includes: • reading course PowerPoints and responding to corresponding questions • communicating and collaborating with other students • completing an Action Research project directly related to students' practice • participating in THREE one-hour live Zoom sessions. Note: A Gmail email account is required in order to participate in the Google Classroom. Please register for this class ONLY if you have completed Level I and are able to fully complete and participate in ALL of the above components.
