NTE: Level I, Social-Emotional Development Through Children’s Literature January 11, 2024
This Never Too Early Level I training in Social-Emotional Development through children's literature is for any professional who works with young children. Topics include Self-Regulation, Emotions, Trauma, and Relationships and Belonging in terms of early childhood development. If you are excited to discuss children's literature, consider social-emotional development in the context of literature, and share curriculum development ideas with fellow professionals—this training is for you! Participants will meet in two, 1.5-hour Zoom sessions to discuss activities assigned by the instructor with three hours of student work required between the two sessions. Participants will receive a free set of picture books and lots of curriculum ideas generated during and between class sessions.
