Play and Community Outreach: Hosting Public Loose Parts Events that Inspire August 30, 2023
For more than fifteen years, I have been bringing people and recycled materials together for play. As a co-founder of Pop-Up Adventure Play, I have supported independent organizers in more than thirty countries and wildly varied neighborhood contexts. Every time, I have seen the longing and vulnerability in play for people of all ages - and the incredible impact of providing time to generously accommodate everyone's weirdest and most creative selves! We will explore simple tips that apply to any context or scale.
- Child Development & Learning
- Family & Community Partnerships
- Developmentally Appropriate & Inclusive Practices
- Curriculum & Learning Environments
- Infant/Toddler
- Preschool/PreK
- School-Age
- Program Directors/Managers
This training is designed especially for Vermont Early Childhood Networks (VECN) members. However, because there is room for more, we invite the general early childhood education community to join us while space allows.
