WHY PRACTICE-BASED COACHING: EVERY TEACHER DESERVES A COACH Practice-Based Coaching (PBC) is an evidence-based system designed to change teacher practices, improving children's outcomes. Currently, Vermont has a limited number of Practice-Based coaches, and external Practice-Based Coaches are costly. Programs with trained coaches succeed in two ways; there is a direct impact on learning outcomes by improving teaching practices, and with in-house coaches, coaching costs are significantly reduced, thus making coaching more sustainable. Pyramid 802 Plus(P802P) is dedicated to increasing the number of trained and qualified coaches by offering this training.
