This is a follow-up to an introduction to reflective practice training. In this training, participants will focus on learning how to use the fishbowl discussion as a means to engage in reflective practice. Participants will review what reflective practice is and is not, learn how to have a fishbowl discussion and what questions/statements are appropriate for this format, practice a fishbowl discussion, and reflect on the experience of engaging in a fishbowl discussion. Training will cover core knowledge areas of professionalism and families and community; the CDA subject areas of productive relationships with families and commitment to professionalism; and VT Core Teaching Standards of Professional Responsibility. This training is particularly for preschool teachers and support staff.
