Raising Children in a Violent Society November 26, 2018
This workshop investigates where children are being exposed to violence and what we can do about it. From developing strategies for handling children's aggression to working toward using respectful language, this program puts adults in the driver's seat when helping children with violence and its effects. At the end of this session participants will be able to: 1) identify where children are being exposed to violence; 2) describe the research about children who are exposed to violence; 3) implement strategies to combat the effects of violence.
