Read-Aloud Strategies for Early Literacy Development January 21, 2020
During this two-hour session Jensa Bushey, CVSD Director of Literacy will lead participants to develop their read-aloud strategies. From the International Reading Association: “Intentionally planned interactive read-alouds can be the single most important activity for children’s later reading success.” Please join us in learning how to plan for small group reading sessions, how to decide which books to read and how to plan for conversations about books. Please bring 2 of your favorite classroom books or upcoming books connected to your curriculum to practice and plan for your classroom reading.
