Schemas in Children’s Play October 11, 2021
Patterns of repeated action in a child's play are called schemas. Educators can learn more about a child and their interests while observing these patterns. Participants will learn about the eight common schemas: connecting, enclosing, enveloping, orientation, positioning, rotation, trajectory, and transportation.
