Start with the Arts Family and Community Engagement Program October 27, 2021
A 22 week program, where providers will engage with their childcare families in arts-based literacy activities, with weekly support provided by one of our Start with the Arts teaching artists. Included are 5, 2-hour professional development gatherings that will be held over the course of the 22 weeks, outside of childcare hours. Providers will create, deliver and document simple family engagement arts-based literacy activities at least once per week. Childcare providers will have the skills and confidence to offer more opportunities to families for combining reading and arts activities at home. **This program is our level 2 training, for home or center based providers who have already completed Start with the Arts.**
