Step by Step Through the ECERS-3 | Item 7: Gross Motor Equipment December 15, 2020
Are you new to the ECERS-3? Have you been using it for a while, but still have questions about certain items in the scale? In this weekly webinar, we will break down the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale, Third Edition, and discuss one item per week. Our presenter will spend 30 minutes explaining the item of the week leaving the last 15 minutes for questions. Participants can sign up for all sessions, or register for individual sessions based on information needed. **The February 25 session will cover Item 7: Gross Motor Equipment. Children not only need space for gross motor play, but safe and stimulating materials to use in that space. During this webinar the presenter will discuss the difference between stationary and portable equipment, safety of said equipment, and the appropriateness of gross motor equipment.**
