Step by Step Through the ITERS-3 | Item 16: Art February 18, 2021
Are you new to the ITERS-3? Have you been using it for a while, but still have questions about certain items in the scale? In this weekly online training, we will break down the Infant Toddler Environment Rating Scale, Third Edition, and discuss one item per week. Our presenter will spend 30 minutes explaining the item of the week leaving the last 15 minutes for questions. Participants can sign up for all sessions, or register for individual sessions based on information needed. This session will cover Item 16: Art. Art can provide many meaningful sensory and creative experiences for children. In this session we will spend time discussing appropriate art materials for each age group within the ITERS-3. We’ll also identify ways in which staff can engage with young children as they use these materials.
