We need diverse books! Nancy will bring a selection of preschool books with themes of diversity/social emotional interaction and growth/ and caring and compassion. Come learn about some great books you can use in your classroom! Participants will: 1) gain exposure to new and exciting picture books with themes of inclusivity; 2) be able to identify the qualities that make a book good or great that also shares ideals of diversity, sharing and caring, and social/emotional growth.

The Making Connections Conference will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, in the Education Conference Room at the Brattleboro Retreat, 1 Anna Marsh Lane, Brattleboro, VT 05301. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Each participant will receive a children's book.
