Throughout this workshop participants will engage in self-reflection and group discussion to cover topics such as workforce strengths and attributes, reconnecting with our sense of power, team building through appreciative inquiry, and commitment to our shared vision. By the end of the training participants will: (1) Identify the strengths and attributes that shape the work they do both as individuals and as a workforce and reflect on their contribution to their communities as early childhood educators, (2) reconnect to their sense of purpose by examining the internal barriers that keep them from fully engaging in their work, and (3) define the Appreciative Inquiry principles and practice them by developing and committing to a vision for the future of early childhood education and for their workplace.
