The Heart of Play February 4, 2020
Children learn best through play. Play is also the way children access their imagination and creativity and learn valuable social skills such as how to to negotiate conflict, feel empathy and embrace cooperation. By creating an educational environment that fully embraces play children will experience a sense of belonging, safety and connection. Play specialist Howard Moody, the author of Nurtured Heart Play and The Heart of Play Games Manual, will lead this workshop that will be filled with play and that will explore the importance of play for all students.
