The ITERS-3 and Playtime with Infants and Toddlers: Activities that Promote Active Learning May 11, 2020
When caregivers interact with infants and toddlers through engaging activities, everyone has fun! From simple routines to planned happenings, the entire day is playtime, and this offers infants and toddlers vital opportunities to promote learning. This workshop explores ideas that enhance the use of books, toys, interactive displays, and classic chants and rhymes, so that your days with little ones are filled with laughter and learning adventures. This is an interactive workshop, and there will be time for participants to ask questions and share their ideas. You will learn how to make books come alive, use your walls as learning tools, make some simple, safe toys, and blend music and mirth into your day. Handouts will be sent ahead of time, so you can get started on your own ‘Full of Fun File.’ Please note: In order to enroll, you must have already taken the training "Get Oriented to the ITERS-3: Signposts on Your Way with Infants and Toddlers."
