The Pyramid Model – Module 3a January 17, 2020
Participants will understand the difference between positive behavior support and traditional discipline approaches. They will define forms and function of communication and identify the behavioral mechanisms that contribute to viewing challenging behavior as communicative. Participants will describe methods that may be used to determine the function of challenging behavior, and will use interview and observation data to determine the communicative function of challenging behavior and develop behavior hypotheses.
